Job description

FLAGS, a dynamic Marcom agency, is currently on the hunt for a seasoned experienced Social Media Strategist.

In this position, you will be responsible for developing and executing innovative social media strategies that drive engagement, increase brand awareness, and deliver measurable results for our diverse client portfolio.

Responsibility:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive digital/ social media strategies to achieve client goals and maximize ROI.
  • Create and curate engaging content for various social media platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook and YouTube.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and translate them into digital media strategies and tactics and prepare calendars and scheduling.
  • Monitor and analyse social media trends, insights, and best practices for continuous improvement.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to expand client social media programs and present new ideas to drive business growth
  • Engage with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner, and monitor customer reviews.
  • Lead and mentor a team of digital media specialists, providing guidance and support in campaign planning, execution, and optimization.
  • Serve as the social media guru, educating and empowering our clients to harness the power of these channels
  • Continuous analysis of paid search campaigns to identify potential opportunities, providing recommendations for optimization through ad copy, keywords, ad groups, targeting, bidding, and landing pages.

Qualifications:

  • Proven work experience as a Social Media Strategist or similar role in the advertising, digital marketing, or related industry.
  • Expertise in multiple social media platforms and understanding of each platform's best practices.
  • Solid knowledge of Social Media, SEO, keyword research, and Google Analytics.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and editing skills.
  • Creative mind-set with a strong ability to generate innovative ideas.
  • Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Canvas, Hootsuite, Buffer, and Sprout Social).
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
  • Expertise in client handling, Client Business requirements & Proposal.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
